Nope. Unfortunately due to the nature of this business I can't blog as freely about my Bull hauling adventures as I could about my Open decking adventures without taking unacceptable amounts of risk on.

I don't know who you could talk to besides the recruiter. unfortunately they seem to know the bare minimum about the actual job.
You might try talking to someone at Donna's about it. Maybe things have changed or they could lead you in the right direction.knuckledragger Thanks this. -
Not to mention the livestock business is very secretive. You won't find much about anything in it on the internet and they prefer to keep it that way.
I start blogging like I did here about what I'm doing now and I got pissed off customers,boss and DOT if they figure out who I am.
It's fun to share my adventures and hear others input, but not worth the risk here IMO.White_Knuckle_Newbie and Sneakerfix Thank this. -
Hey y'all, I'm new to the site. I've been reading the posts on this particular forum because I had been hearing about Systems Transport, and I'd also been seeing their trucks at particular places that I would get loaded at, and I'd also been seeing them on the road. I work for a certain flatbed company in Dallas, and I'm looking for a change, not that I want to, but it's time. I had been searching and searching through different companies online and reading reviews, and I kept hearing more bad than good, but when I started researching Systems Transport, I was hearing more good than bad. I realize that there's gonna be good and bad with all jobs, but I have a good feeling about Systems. So, I called up the recruiter to get the lowdown on the Texas regional flatbed division. The recruiters that I spoke to were VERY thorough, they answered every question that I had. I have been thinking long and hard about it, and I think I'm gonna make the jump to Systems. I want to be with a company until I retire, and I have a good feeling about them. It looks like I'll be planning towards November 2nd for orientation, we'll see!

Hey drivers,
I'm looking into system and I'm pretty excited from what I read. Sounds like a very good company to work for.
I've applied for Texas regional and have a few questions that I hope you guys can answer for me;
1) What is training like for an experienced driver who's never done flatbed? This was the only thing the recruiter was kinda iffy on. She said "a few days"
2) Is the pay information on the site accurate? I see that the top 50% of drivers in each division are earning $60k a year, but I'd like to hear it from you guys.
3) How does home weekly work out? Does that really just mean "home for your reset"?
4) How are the trucks? I was told APUs and power inverters are included in all trucks, is this accurate?
5) What kind of runs do you normally get running Texas regional? Lots of short stuff and state highway driving?
Thanks for any info you guys can give me. I've got some experience under my belt and I'm ready to find a solid company that I can build a long term career with. System sounds very promising. -
