I pretty OCD about tracking my income. My numbers are low because I stop by the house whenever possible. My girlfriend has some medical issues and I try to time it so I have a day home whenever I'm through the area. The last few weeks have been much higher because freight has picked up. I also ask to stay more out west except when pulling poles so I can get back quick if my gf has to go into the hospital. The potential for higher earning is definately here on the pole fleet, but that's not my priority at this time.
Dont worry my numbers are good lol. I don't miss a few hundred just laying around somewhere.

hey milktanker are you on the flatbed cowboys on facebook? Pretty sure I know who you are now
-
Yup sure am. Just posted a picture not to long ago on there
-
I figured that was you
-
Ah, Thanks for explaining that. I was starting to worry the pole fleet was gonna pay less than OTR lol. Hope your girlfriend gets better
.
Milktanker Thanks this. -
Thanks, if you know how to run here Brett will keep you cruising. Most runs are out to the Midwest and back so 1500 + mile runs are pretty normal. Right now I'm on a long one out to Ohio and already have a preplan back to Sacramento that will be preloaded. So for this run alone I am making $1235 with all mileage pay + border crossing + stop + oversize pay which is 6 cpm on this run. Not bad for 4 days of work lol

NICE! I'm not doing bad myself. I came off home time with a load going to Montgomery. From there i got a pre-plan the day before unloading to load in FL headed back to Yakima. Two 2500 mile+ runs back to back!

But then the sadness came. My hours wouldn't let me make my 1st drop by Friday and they would not take me Saturday. So now i'm having them look for a repower out of CO or KS so i don't spend 2 1/2 days sitting.Milktanker Thanks this. -
If you'd like i created an User friendly version of my Pay Check Audit Spreadsheet. I built instructions into it,color coded cells requiring input data and locked almost all the cells which had formula's in them making it very easy to use IMO.

Well we're at the end of my first week back. Hub miles for the week = 3,850 with 14 minutes left on my clock as the 7th day draws to a close
. If she keeps this up i'm going to have to get her an expensive bottle of Chardonnay next time i hit the yard
.
She told me that i was going to have to sit all weekend and go on with my load come Monday as no repower was available until i asked her how the progress on opening up Canada was and she told me that she hadn't even started. So she got that moving quick and low and behold all of a sudden our load planners find me a repower and have a preplan for me to keep moving over the weekend. Taking a reset now as i have no hours left and i'm not getting any hours back. Then rolling into Denver to Drop my Load and pick up a pre loaded trailer rolling into Alberta for my First Ever Canada run and best of all i won't be sitting over the weekend!
I'm pretty sure this is the definition of perfection

Just got off the phone with him as i was looking for someone to brief me on operations in Canada. He was obviously the wrong person to talk to. Milktanker can you confirm whether he still plays any role on the pole fleet or not?Last edited by a moderator: Feb 11, 2015
