T A Coffee

I moved south and kind of miss Kwik Trip coffee.

 

Yes! It has always tasted like it was filtered through an 80 years old womans panties, or the water was used from the local waste water treatment plant.

 

TA coffee was geared towards the taste preference of the old time truckers who didn’t care what coffe taste like as long as it had cafine. Lots of it. Today’s truckers have a more sophisticated palate when it comes to coffee and unfortunately TA hasn’t been keeping up. Kudos to PFJ for trying to keep up with the times with their new machines.

 

At least most places have gotten away from cooking the coffee for hours in a glass decanter on a hot plate. But now it’s coffee going slowly cold in a thermos. But I won’t buy coffee anymore unless it’s from one of the new fresh grind/brew systems. I’m not a big coffee drinker. I’ll only drink a cup or two in the morning or maybe later in the day with a dessert. Life’s too short to drink lousy coffee.

 

TA coffee is by far the worst crap I have ever attempted to drink.

Pilot House blend is pretty good.
Even Love's is pretty good.

Or Kwik Trip if you're up north.

 

I only got one cup of coffee and tea a and that was that. Near Brooklyn Iowa I won't buy no more

 

Do you mount the coffee maker somehow ? I'm planning on using a skinny k-cup machine or just leave it sitting in the floor..?

The reason TA coffee is so bad is the crap water used and more importantly...dirty brewing machines. You could put the best beans in those machines and it would produce the same crap.
