Usually if a company stops contributing to the 401(k) plans then said company is hemorrhaging red ink.

There are one or two terminals in the old UPS Freight that did not vote for the union and the Waynesboro, Va terminal is one of them. The person that related this information to me is connected with the Waynesboro terminal. If this is company wide, I do not know, but I really do not see how they could pick one terminal for this type of action without being company wide.

If they are a non-union terminal, then they are the canary in the coal mine regarding what the company would like to do to the entire workforce.

Our TM has hired four former T Force linehaul drivers so far, I don't know the circumstances behind it, I just know they came from T Force, seem like pretty good guys and good drivers for that matter, I didn't want to pry about why they left T Force, I am sure they had their reasons.

No "if" about it, they are non-union in Waynesboro, Va. I do not know the other terminal that is non-union, I believe it is Savanah, Ga, but I could be all wrong, but I am not wrong on Waynesboro.

The other terminal is inevitably going to be in the south. I know that much without knowing it.

Just talked to an actual T-Force driver today for a few moments. He actually went to them from another LTL company.
Positive, he is getting paid better than last company.
Sorta negative, its LTL. Most of the same issues as any other LTL.

Interesting tidbit. He said they will be getting new trucks soon. Apparently that shade of brown is trademarked by UPS and he guesses the bean counters figured it was more cost effective to just replace the trucks now (he said the trucks aren't that great anyway), rather than repaint them.

    Woot-woot, no-troll-zone.
