    Sorry if I got your hopes up, yet if I do find some one that has a rig I can work off? It needs to be a Freightliner, my mistake maybe, just the way I am I suppose. Something along the lines of either a classic or a century class (13 spd would be nice)

    i know of a 2000 fl classic, detriot, 13 for 22k

    get ahold of the SBA (small business association), do up a business plan and try for it....

    you'll never know till ya try

    Wish I had the cash, as hubby would be getting that for Christmas! I'd have to sell the trailer though and get him a different one. He wants to get his own truck sometime in the future.

    lol....after my talk with the bank today i dont think i can aford to sell it...they want 25% down now!!
    #### and i have a good deal lined up...just no cash...LOL

    If I could pull a rabbit out of the hat, I'd take it! My dad thinks I'm nuts for wanting to start my own brokerage. He'd think we are certifiable for wanting to buy a truck.

    Not surprising that they want that much down considering today's economy. I hear ya on the no cash . . .
