T600 with detroit series 60 12.7L opinions?

    And I didn't think there were 12.7's in that year either.

    Those two things, and the fact you can't find anyone close to look at it, mean I would pass.

    1.6 million is likely on it's third overhaul too, if that's even it's engine mileage. Possibly overhauled before that 1.6 ever started

    2003 was the last year you could factory order Detroit in anything but Freightliner. So it's been swapped or glider. A original 470hp or 500hp 12.7 were not bad if you got the right rears in them.

    I've had 2 series 60's and had good luck with them.They are probably the cheapest motor to rebuild these days.
