"....Every single radio coming out of China with multiple final transistors running in parallel always has mismatched finals..."

have you tested them all? if not, how can you truthfully make that statement?

Every unit comes with mismatched transistors. It's cheaper to build them that way. If you were a real technician you would know that. If you knew a real technician you would know that.
Every radio out of the Box with a pair of mosfet finals always looks like this right out of the Box. The only way to fix the problem is to replace the finals with a matched pair.

no way you can make that claim without testing them all.

I never claimed to be a "real" technician LOL. Never claimed to be a fake one either.

There's only one "real" tech and I don't go to the Rio Grande much ;-)

All the low budget CBs are junk these days.

Well, the word "junk" is overwrought.

It may be true my 50-dollar Uniden 520XL isn't perfect, however that may be defined, but it gets me out there and gets the job done.

Now, the definition of "job" is variable, of course. In my case, the job is not trying to compete with some Ham perfectionist who will criticize my radio's sine wave or will criticize me because my voice is coming across as less mellow than Bing Crosby's.

No, my job is trying to get information on what the holdup on I20 is all about. For that, a low-budget radio from China is working, which is good enough for me. :)

To me the difference is like buying a cheap stereo that takes audio and makes your fav mp3 sound like ####...Take the same mp3 and play it through your buddy updated slightly more expensive system and it sounds like you were there during recording...To me its worth the diff..
Some its fine as is but im not one of them,i dont like to just be fine with something i enjoy..

I have a Stryker 447hpc2, one of those junk dual final Chinese cb's. My tech had it on the scope and the spectrum analyzer. It didn't look anything like the picture above.

    Worse or better??
Whats in the pic is not good..Should be pretty much flat except the one big spike..
There is always a chance that outta the thousands made a handful can make it through and look better..
