Well had a drive tire lock up on wet roads. It was weird cause it was just one that I could tell and only knew it cause I heard the drag(didn't slow truck any faster) and the q/c barked critical event report but I was only doing 20 mph and didn't jab brakes just applied normal. I was deadheading. Could of been super singles or new brake shoes and drums or combination but I must admit did make me a little nervous for winter roads.

SS's are a huge PIA in the snow/ice but they are doable. I just slowed down a little more and paid a little more attention to what i was driving on and it wasn't too bad. But i'd still rather have duals lol.
On a positive note when you chain (if you chain) SS chains are lighter then 3 railers.

yeah just keep a eye out on oil pressure it will stop dropping a few days before the lights start going off. once it starts to drop i just take it somewhere and get it changed before i have a problem with it

Get a small bucket OR Trash Bag, put it under the filter, slowly unscrew the filter and put it in the bucket.
Fill new filter with oil, rub oil on the gasket with your finger, then screw back on.....
Thats all there is to it!
NOTE: You can use a filter wrench to remove the filter but DO NOT use the wrench to put it back on, just make it as tight as you can by hand thats all it needs.

Went through 2 major torrential down pours last 2 days with 2-3 inches of water or roadways at times and no problems what so ever with super singles.
