Hello all, I drive a 2005 T800 with Acert motor, 18 speed manual trans. I am wondering if there is an option in the programming that activates the truck / trailer brake lights when the engine brake engages WITHOUT using the service brakes? I know that some Fire Trucks are set up this way, not sure of any other applications. My thought is that when coming up on slowing traffic you want the vehicles to know what is going on.
    Thanks in advance!

IIRC, MY2005 still uses analog for those circuits without running them through a node, so to do this would require a bit of engineering rather than programming… I might be mistaken, but I don’t believe I am… most of what I’ve worked on as far as trucks is either from the 90s or 2010s+… I kinda seemed to pass over the 00s until recently.

should be illegal to have the brake lights come on with the jakes... nothing i've found more annoying than being behind someone like this in the mountains. Up. down, brake lights are like hazards and overused to the point they lost their meaning..
