When I run in the Baltimore/DC area. I try to plan my day to deliver/ reload and leave same day.
That TA is a good option for spending the night in the area.

The TA in Jessup, MD is the planned parking area for a lot of the delivery/shippers that ring the area. No parking for them on their lots.

I've stayed at that one multiple times. No problems. Been awhile though.

If you look for trouble you'll find it. If you don't, it probably won't find you.

Well, it's basically the only place if you have to deliver in that area. It's not that bad though.50 gals get you free parking if you find a spot but if you don't just keep circling the lot ,sooner or later someone will leave.

Thanks. Didn't even get beyond Richmond before I repowered a load going the complete opposite direction. But from the responses if I do have stay there I will be okay. I pretty much do what I need to do and get back in the truck anyhow.

You will be fine,no worries.Just put 50 gals into tank before you enter parking lot. When leaving you will show receipt and be on your way.

Shot on the TA property? Shot By another driver? There’s a security gate did the shooter jump the fence?

No fence completely around property. Anyone can walk to parking lot. Only access for a vehicle is past the security guard/gate.

Security Gate? You mean ticket booth.

Doesnt stop hookers, pan handlers, hood rats and thugs from walking back there.

I've I've only had someone bang on my door once and it was a short old fat white lady. I played possum, I didnt have the patience to hear another my car ran out of gas story or just trying to get back to where ever story.

I dont remember the details of the shooting. I think it was a trucker shot by 2 guys who robbed him.

Been a few years since I been there but I mis-remembered it being fenced.
