If you get right under the trailer when you hook up, you don't have to stretch the air lines that far.....
Intothesunset, Lepton1, Bud A. and 2 others Thank this. -
Don't laugh, that truck and trailer combo
Is taking over industry.Intothesunset, drvrtech77, mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I guess the G.O.A.L. sticker isn't enough.......
They'll have to put a "Check Your Pin, #######" sticker on the dash, too.Intothesunset, 86scotty and buddyd157 Thank this. -
The driver had unhooked to get shop work done then backed up under the trl and hooked lines but then by his own admission cranked the landing gear up on partially and then tried to go get reefer fuel...the lip on the ground caught the landing gear and with the force pulled the trl off because the 5th wheel wasn't locked....
Intothesunset, Lepton1, Bud A. and 3 others Thank this. -
At least it didn’t happen on the highway.
Intothesunset, Bud A. and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
He also got beligerant with the mgr demanding that they use a forklift to lift up his trl...she told him as soon as the wrecker is done with you..get off my property, you're not not staying...he kept trying argue with her..
Intothesunset and Bud A. Thank this. -
Forklift, tow trucker!!
Why not use the hand crank?Intothesunset Thanks this. -
That wouldn't work under that situation...the trl was wedged into the tires and the landing gear was buckled..45k lbs in trl as well..
-
More or less, dragging the trailer with the landing gear halfway up did more damage than the weight of the load in the trailer. 45K in the trailer brings the truck close to the max gross weight limit.Bud A. and lovesthedrive Thank this.
