LOL...the only thing I stop in Corning for is a few jars of olives for Christmas gifts. I don't think I've patronized a Corning truck stop since Dudley and Petty went out of business.
No real reason, I just don't like truck stops and since we have key-lock fuel everywhere there's no need to subject myself to the prices and the multi-cultural babble.
I do enjoy seeing the people spend their money at the various casinos. We appreciate the contribution.;)
H-O-E used to be a good place to stop until the tourists and the out of state truckers discovered it. I think the last time I stopped there was in the late 70s.

I have always wondered if those Grizzellas (maybe the name) Olives were good. LOL
For me the one creepy stop @ heaven on earth was late 1990's very early 2000's , and that was one weird experience. Erie to say the least. By then I figured that tourists were the only business they got. None of the people there that night were tourists or Truckers. Ghosts maybe and not friendly ones.
Casinos are a whole dif issue , too much to be said. ;)

Yup. That's my go-to place for huge pastrami sandwiches. They're great. when the old building burned down we were all worried about what would replace it. No fear...it's better now than it used to be.

Dang that’s so weird. Going to take away a huge parking area that’s for sure

As far as I know, because the property was bought, and they didn't want what was there. I am curious myself. I made a couple guesses , and thats it. If you read all the posts , you know that Rolling Hills Casino has some parking and nice showers, and that is about all we know for sure. But that is a block away from the property that was bought. You got any ideas?
