OP, write up a complaint and pass it along at the fuel desk/drop box, perhaps a phone call to complaint dept would prevail.
I forgot about this one incident at that T/A (Country Pride): It was early in the morning, I just wanted some potatoe pancakes (they were still doing that Oktoberfest special with the brats) but there was a plate of bacon sitting on the pick up place. I told the waitress "that bacon looks pretty good, I think I'll have a side of bacon" well I don't know what happened in the kitchen but it took FOREVER to get that #### 3 strips of bacon! (Mind you I'm STARING at a plate of bacon sitting RIGHT THERE in the window of the kitchen! Plus it's early in the morning, they should be cooking for the buffet. It wasn't out yet but they should have started prep work by then) Well what I finally got was three strips of black greasy tire rubber that tasted vaugly of pork. Wtf?!! And that #### plate of the good stuff? Was still sitting in that #### window! There's one on 80 in PA & another in VA on 81. Full Sheetz truckstops. Many of the ones in PA are cool with trucks coming in, grabbing lunch and going. (No 10hr parking, but you can take your 30min break there.) there's usually space for 1-3 trucks if you do it right. If you see a Sheetz with a truck in front of it then just remember where that Sheetz is and how that driver got in there. You'll probably be good. Local guys around here are always hitting the Sheetz.
that particular truckstop had a strip joint next door and hookers rocking your rig at night in the back party row where it's dark. I doubt things changed. as far as the food, I only ate the aujus gravy with roast beef that must have been peeled off a tire in the shop and then roasted beyond chewability. But it's hard for any cook to screw that up. In the end I learned not to stop there anymore and just keep going east or west to much better places. Some of you pick on TA food, I must point out there are some TA's with very good food such as east Armarillo, Earle Arkansas and Easton Maryland which was a old 76 long ago across from the Petro. Good luck!
Must be doing something wrong then, I've parked in the "party line" back there many times and never heard a thing.
