Due to safety concerns TA has passed roadside assistance until they can figure it out…can’t blame them those technicians are sitting ducks on the shoulder.
Another TA/Petro note..
I just got annual injections on truck and trailer October 19th. Put stickers on after cleaning the surfaces well..then heavy rain for two days and sticker on trailer disappeared, lol. Sticker on truck barely hanging on. Glue must be water soluble and the way the paper part of the sticker extends to the outer edges wicks water in.
Just a bad design sticker since I’ve never had a problem before. Going into a TA tomorrow morning to try getting it resolved..
Just a heads up!

No way in hell I would trust the roads these days for a mechanic on the side of the road. Most these drivers do not even try and get over. TheLoadOut, Flat Earth Trucker, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this.

I received the same email from NASTC. They said they are still doing road calls in parking lots, just not on any roadways. I am wondering if someone was struck while on the side of the highway.TheLoadOut, Flat Earth Trucker, Concorde and 2 others Thank this.

One Petro mechanic told me that in addition to their regular hourly pay they only get ten dollars extra for a roadside call. TheLoadOut, Flat Earth Trucker and Concorde Thank this.

Just fyi you don’t need those stickers. Only the paperwork from the inspection, or the sticker with the right info.Flat Earth Trucker, Concorde and Siinman Thank this.

Also I have passed 3 inspections without even showing a truck inspection sticker or paper work. I honestly dont think they even care about it since you are suppose to do an inspection everyday you drive anyways. On the trailer I do get asked more on paperwork for it and that might be because of everyone changes trailers and they get used to asking. I did however get an inspection this week to make sure no problems. Will need to put front Disc breaks on before to much longer. Was still legal but close.

	Spell, or word, check please.

	They have always checked mine.
Almost got written up in SD because Rush didn’t put the date on the inspection sheet. He let it slide only because he saw the date of manufacture of the tractor.
