I like to catch my shower mid day on my 30 minute break. I'm like you though I must have a shower everyday. If I miss my shower I'm POed. I typically fuel wherever the cheapest prices are so most days I just have to buy my shower but usually there's a driver that's more than happy to sell me a shower for $5 bucks. I hate paying $12. It's still worth it to me to not fuel at the mega stops though.
    My math.
    200 gallons 30¢ cheaper is 60 bucks.
Pilot gives me 12 points so that's 24$
Shower is 5-12$ so I'm still at least $14 bucks ahead.
That and there's only so much you can do with pilot points. I don't eat fast food. Don't drink soda. Don't eat chips or candy so there's nothing I can spend my points on.
Right now though I save about $550 per month not fueling at TA pilot or loves and a lot of the mom and pop places have showers so I'll just use them for free when I fuel
When I was a company driver for swift they were pretty good about keeping the truck fueled. If you find yourself running low you can call in for a fuel solution and they'll send you to the nearest stop even if that's a pilot.

Good, country pride is awful. Taco Bell is one of the few fast foods you can eat a healthy meal from. Two chicken soft tacos fill me up and that's only 360 calories. If I'm real hungry I'll eat one bean burrito and one chicken soft taco and that's still under 400 calories.

The amount of calories doesn't make heavily processed food designed to be stored for extended periods then heated up healthy. There is a great book "sugar, salt, fat" you can check out. The good thing about the country pride is you could have food made to order, like whole eggs over hard, salad bar anyone... You have something healthier at Taco Bell than that?

Go look at what Taco Bell has inside those two soft tacos, granted it's not super bad but if that's eating healthy to you then, ok

The only thing "healthy" about Taco Bell is the "purge"that comes after. Just hope you have an open stall when running for the bathroom and the toilet paper is full.
