    $200 to burn on points.

I have a K9 cam, but it’s interface is simple and confusing - and the SD card shows ‘full’ and won’t format (tried two now).

Anyway - I have a DEZL Garmin, I see it has a dash cam input. There’s a Garmin 65W here. Will that work with the GPS?

    Here’s the choices . . .

For what it's worth I just bought a new Rand McNally 500. I like that you can download the video to your phone. It was delivered on Friday & I haven't put it in the truck yet.

None of them to be honest. I haven't had one that last more then 1 year. The buttons start sticking and doing weird things... Buy a $30 one on amazon lol

When you get it up and running can you post a quick video so I can see the quality?

Use this app it's great and works good via your phone camera, I use it thru a 10 inch notepad..lol...you can use free version or pay version, both work good. If you want to save a short video of something you see you just tap the screen and it saves it...Daily Roads Voyager...I have Android phone. I like it so much I may just pay the small fee for the pay version. You can have it write to your SD card, tell it how much in GB you want to save before it rewrites, and when you tap the screen to save video it saves it to a protected file which you can watch/save/or delete. A lotta functions, and developers of it are good to. Of course you can use it in addition to a cam or use it as an alternative to a cam

Depending on your tax liability, you could give it to me as a write off. Just trying to help.

    Sure!

How about I buy some gangly doo-dads for that K-Whopper from the Petro and glue them on, then have you write me a receipt for parts and installation?

Promise I'll find some tasteful ones.

Just discovered the 'video input' on the back of the 770 DEZL is for a 'back up camera' input. I thought it might have worked in conjunction with a dash cam somehow - so I'm back to square one.

Replaced the SD card in the K9 unit - see how long this one lasts.

here's the other thing......if you buy a camera, you get a receipt to claim on your taxes. If you pay with points, the receipt says $0. Just a casual observation.

Here's one I spiced up a little, this one is when I was going through Quebec...oh I love this app...no dash cam needed...I also run a small dash cam I got off Amazon...lol...but this is thee app...lol...since I use my 10 inch notepad and it's more stable than a phone in its cradle...but I got the app on my phone also
