The TA on I35 mm 155 (US-75 Junct), has done some remodeling. New showers, bathrooms, TV room. They had to do something since Love's opened a new one just east at Ottawa. The TA's restaurant, known as Beto Junction, once was a great place to eat, however has gone downhill. They're known for their HUGE homemade cinnamon rolls.

Corporations spend boatloads of money on the consumer to advertise how good their product is, have you ever looked at a print ad for say a Subway sandwich? It's picture perfect, great clarity and is perfectly made, then you go into a subway shop and get something completely different. Marketing worked though, it got you into the store. As a driver I tend to stop at the ones that I can get in and out of easily, get my fuel and get a clean shower. Then I leave. Listening to truck drivers the last 30 years that have all the answers to the worlds problems has made me rather not stop and socialize.

Anyone who's been to that TA (and I have so I know) will know that saying those cinnamon rolls are huge......is an understatement. They really need to come with their own insulin shot

I stayed at the TA west in OKC one night last week. I had a complaint about something an employee did. I emailed TA corporate at midnight. 7:30 the next morning the general manager called me to discuss the problem and to ask what he could do to correct the situation.

I was extremely impressed they got back to me so soon and will not hesitate to stay there again.

That T/A (ex 76) was torn down and replaced several years ago. It is a T/A lite with no sit down restaurant. Just has a Burger King and Starbucks.

If you are in a TA, and it looks really old, and has a kind of open stairway going upstairs to the showers, like the one at exit 4 on I-94 in Hudson, Wi. it is one they bought from the old truckstop chain called "76". There are probably a dozen TA's still using them old buildings, and all are very similar, and need to be rebuilt.

the old leehigh truckstop that is now TA owned needs to be torn to the ground. the last time i was in there, the restuarant smelled like a hot bucket of urine. the smell in the bathrooms is horrible and it overruns the entire facility.
