TA Wheeling, WVm, no parking, ever!

well it has been MANY years since i had been there, that was the name of the restaurant. i think somewhere, i even still have a menu from there. they had HUGE sandwiches..!!!!!!

 

I'll try most anything twice. As far as that place goes, I saw all I needed to see on the first stop there

 

If i remember correctly, the Paul Bunyun restaurant was at the Hurricane, WV TA.

i thought i had the menu booklet, (it was like a tourist souvenir) but i must have tossed it away...or it is just buried...i'll take some time this weekend to find it.

 

Which was a Union 76 before being a TA. My first time through there, i ordered the spaghetti and it came in a small replica wash tub.

 

I use to go through there for years, and never had an issue finding a spot. Pulling reefer 12 years ago. Maybe over time this has changed with ELD implementation.

 

Nope. Changed due to the gas and oil boom in PA and WV. Lot is jampacked with sand cans waiting for the call to run in.

 

yeah, right now, i cannot recall what it was, a 76 or T/A.....it took a few years for the change over to happen once the sale went thru.

i think between 1992 and 1996 would have been the "general" time frames, i would have been thru there, for a company that ran me from Richmond, VA, to Louisville, KY, and back.

 

Used to be a good place to stop. But like a lot of the places I "used" to stop at. The place is a #### hole now.

 

still a chrome shop across the street?
