Sadly for me unlimited data just isn't an option. However, with every other carrier going unlimited, AT&T and VZW will likely follow with their own unlimited data plan. Anyhow, I feel the same about capped data, but they cap it for that reason...so they can get you with those overage charges. Annoying little buggers.
I've been considering paying what I owe back to sprint and getting a hotspot with unlimited data with them.
Tablet or no?

verizon and att will never have unlimited data. there crap don't stink. and as long as people are willing to pay there high prices. they have no reason to change what's working for them. and you can take that to the bank.
why verizon offered it for that very limited time is beyond me. but i'm sure they are regretting ever doing it. as they are trying everything in there power to push people off the unlimited bandwagon. -
AT&T used to have unlimited as well.

Hey, those of you who have a tablet and use Google Maps, can you click and drag a route to change it? Can you copy/cut and paste using the touch screen? I have been tried to find a Best Buy salesperson who knows how to do it but no success yet... I can do it with a Surface Windows but not going to spend $ 500.00 for that...

Rocks Thanks this.

Thank you Hammer... that was all I needed to know. I wish there were some kind of application with Google maps navigation and click and drag capability combined so that one could change their route any way they wanted while in transit and automatically get the mileage, the time of the trip, and check route and locations with satellite view as well.

This is what I want to do, for example, using Google Maps, I enter a trip with starting address in Atlanta, GA and ending in Wildwood, GA. It shows route going thru downtown....
...but I change my route in order to go around I-285. So, I click on the route and drag it to where I want.
And automatically get the mileage and time for the trip. This is easy to do using my laptop but can it be done with a tablet?
I have been doing a lot of changing routes with my simple, basic GPS... and it works.. but I would like the convenience and the speed of a tablet... and being able to have a satellite view of my route and the locations as I drive... That would save me time. -
On the example you gave, if I had entered a stop (but only through the tablet browser, Google Maps app doesn't do multiple stops,) in Atlanta, I could grab that and move it, but not just any point on the route as you can on the laptop. That's what I meant by only the waypoints (stops) could be moved.
Rocks Thanks this.
