Yep they did not like to ingest dirt. We have a guy that uses one as a pull back tractor on a pulling sled around home. I'm not a red guy but its beautiful. He also has a D21 and a spirit of 76 Case.

Id like to see that fwa 1206.

Not sure if you noticed but most of those farm tractors have brand new rubber. If you look real close you can see the little nibs still on the tires. An example is the tractor in front of the 1206 plus the two demonstrators. One new rear tire is pushing $1500 CDN these days. I said to one fella that I can't imagine what he has tied up in just tires and paint. He told me 14 coats (or maybe it was quarts....not sure) on the Marmon and the red 359.

    I'll be in my bunk...

    Love well kept old trucks.

There was a big antique truck show that happened every year at the Kirkland Ranch in Amador County, California. Was just up the road from where I grew up and I loved watching the trucks come and go, as well as going there to walk around and enjoy what there was to see.

The guy also put up one heck of a Christmas Light display.

    Rank,
Thanks for sharing them pix, nice stuff....I drove Macks for years, U's, & R's, really well made dependable trucks.... ALL Mack too, engines, trans, etc....The first U I ever drove had a 300 with that straight 5...After coming out of a screaming Jimmy with a 10 RR, I had some shifting adjustments to make...My mentor at the time just said do it like this, pop it out, reach up and take a sip of coffee, by then it'll' go in....I almost bought a Cruiseliner back in '83 and had aspirations about going independent....Pop talked me out of it though, one of the few times I listened to him....I remember when the Superliner came with it's BIG horse.....One of the farms I used to haul seed potatoes for had one, real nice truck, lotta power....Only drawback was he couldn't even scale 43K....They were just too heavy.....

I was told to take it out of gear light a cigarette and put it in the next gear. Same line of thinking just a different vice.
