Taco, Laredo, Truck

Never have but I've never stuck around long enough to notice, or they leave. I've never seen a Denny's cook go to the restroom either, lol.

Those trucks live or die by their reputation and repeat customers. If they got their customers sick that could mean they put themselves out of business. I've only ever gotten sick from major chains, never a hole in the wall.

 

No but I have seen a fast food worker taking an order while taking a piss, then go back and fix the order. Never did see him wash his hands. I won't say sanitation isn't necessary, but I will agree our immune systems have been weakened by all of the stuff we do to "protect" ourselves.

 

And if you are going to get sick from handling of money, your immune system is weak.

More truckers get sick from subways sanitary service everyday than will get sick from a taco truck. The kids running the subway don't care and dump old product ontop of new, along with all the bacteria that has been growing all day in the bottom of the pan.

 

Never been to the specific taco truck you mentioned but if I have missed one from Nogales thru Yuma on up to Salinas I hope to get back and try it. I have never been disappointed from a taco truck nor ill. Can't say the same about Wendy's. Usually pretty good food for the price. Love the tripe tacos but then again full blooded German. We eat anything.

Dogs don't taste that good

 

I always have seen 2 ppl working the lunch trk,1 that does the cooking and one outside taking the money..I call it the grease wagon.Don't get me wrong,they have great food and cheap.I always give them a tip because they get paid on commission.Far as the restroom maybe they stop somewhere or have a restroom in the back of the trk or just wait till they get back to their head quarters.So are you saying you don't think the lunch ppl are very sanitary?Next time look and see if the cook is wearing gloves.

 

Someone mentioned they use dog meat,next time I see a lunch trk i'm going to ask them straight up if they use dog meat and if they're not wearing gloves to cook i'm going to ask the cook where his gloves are.I'm not shy,lol.

Never tried them, but I know what you're talking about. Mexican food in general hurts me for about 48 hours so I stay away from it.
