Sorry to hear that happened to you. Did you find out if you would have to pay the training money back? I got hurt on the job a few weeks ago. I bet when I finally get to go back to work I'm going to be let go. I've never got hurt on a job before so this is all new to me. I have no idea what to do....look for another job?, hope and pray that I get to go back to my job?? But, oh well I guess what will be will be.

Well everyone here is my final update. Trucking is over for me. No other company will hire me because Millis terminated me. Therefore I move onward. Oh not to worry I have a job in Denver, so I will be moving out there in about a week to 10 days. Good luck out there and don't get sick and have to go to the hospital becuz you may end up out of a career especially if you are a newbie. Adios Amigos!

Too bad if you had your heart set on it. If you have a decent job lined up where you aren't on the road it may be a "lucky bad break", good luck :smt090

Best of luck to you at your new job tacodog. Stick around man...you don't have to leave because you aren't going to be driving.

Did you try going to a different training company....like Central Refrigerated or Schneider? I don't know if these companies are any good but you may have to start all over with one of them to get into trucking if that's what you want to do.

    Good Luck!

I am still around Hitman and thanks.

I tried and was turned down but hey the job I got is so much better for me than driving a truck. All is good!

Good luck in your new job Tacodog. Sorry you won't be able to drive but this may be a better fit for you anyway. Hope it all works out and keep posting on here. Don't leave us just because you aren't driving.

Welcome (or goodbye) to the Dawning of the age of Aquarius for trucking. They did you a favor by letting you go, that company is total garbage compared to what it was 3 years ago. I believe a guy on this forum named Rollover the original has an idea for nominating companies like this for BFI (bottom feeders, Inc.)

Just so you know, most OTR trucking companies today are still much worse than Millis, and will fire a noob for sneezing wrong.
