Truckers group endorses Gillibrand
A truckers organization that Republican congressional candidate Alexander “Sandy” Treadwell courted heavily for support has endorsed his opponent, U.S. Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand.

“She’s just doing a great job for us. She’s standing up for the little guy.” said Charles Claborn, northeast regional director of Truckers and Citizens of America United, a national organization with about 285,000 members.
