they now sell them with solder in the middle as well as shrink tubing.

 

Ive seen those too. Havent been able to find them in the stores tho. You know where to get them?

 

They're awesome. I use them routinely. Only one downfall...many times the crimper will ever so slightly tear the plastic which will allow road salt to creep in and rot it all out. So I've been wrapping them with good electrical tape. Other than that they're best connectors out there IMO.

 

Get you some good quality crimpers and you won't have that problem..
