Tailgating...Question for Dry Van Drivers.. ???

    I have dealt with that a few times with certain accounts that we have. Petco, Petsmart, Russell Stovers stores, etc... mostly its supply chain stuff that I either fill in for and deliver, or run regularly and it's just part of the account. I do get paid for doing it though, so it's not free labor. (May not be worth it on a hot summer, or cold winter day though!) :p

    Well, sure.
    We are expected to do certain duties in our job.

    We are paid by the mile, but the companies know that we do certain things that are not paid for by a simple mileage rate.
    Therefore they increase that rate to compensate us for those duties.

    It all works out in the end.
    The company can show that they are paying us a good wage, while we work for something slightly above minimum wage.

    What could be a better business plan?

    Except for the insurance industry, of course.
