I might just happen to be that buddy of his.

It is full handsfree and the CB Mic has a built in BT mic inside. It technically works as it should, you just talk and the person your talking to comes over the CB speaker (or external if you have one hooked up). It's not a push to talk nor does it work like a radio...

As stated, the unit is a total piece of crap. It's a nice idea with a huge failure. They do make an external mic but that won't sound much better.
The best choice is to just get one of the Blue Parrot products and use it.

The radio itself is rather nice and has adjustable blue lighting with Nightwatch. That in itself was worth the cost. I would never
buy this radio JUST for the Bluetooth feature...



PS. I have been told that Cobra is releasing a newer model/version of this that is totally revamped.
It's anyone's guess if it works better....
