    if someone can get you into a union shop, and they get paid well, and have good benefits and everything else, then go for it. someday, they may not be able to get you in.

    The local one sounds the best to me but it's your choice that's coming from a wanna be. How is Western Express your 2nd choice? If you're hung up on flatbed Maverick, Boyd or Roehl sound like better options then WE. Good Luck and congrats.

    I understand that, but its hard having to deal with HR not calling back to set #### up or even replying to an email. They have no orientation, and its all hourly paid training , 2 week local and 2 weeks otr. After a year you are making the same as old dogs, which is nice. I am running out of money very fast and need to start something by next week.

    Care to explain? My friend just left for Western Express.

    to wait for things to happen, is like waiting for a pot of water to boil, it'll never happen as quick as you want it to.

    You are right about that. So should I call more often and send more emails? Or no, because now its in their hands, I did my part, which was pass my cdl test, now its in their hands, or do you think thats a crappy way to look at it?
