I hear you. I was at a pretty good carrier before, but there's no comparison. I'm not planning on going anywhere else, barring some unforseen circumstance. I might if there is ever a sell out situation like Con Way is going through right now, but I can't imagine that happening.

I still get calls every couple of weeks from my old TM. He can find drivers, but he's having a harder time finding good ones. I just laugh and tell him that if OD has a management position come open, I'll give him a good referral.

Not sure about Naptime , but I avg 3000 miles a week. With hook pay it adds up nicely !

I'm on the extra board so mileage varies, but it's usually between 2700-3000.

    Josh_ Thanks this.

Can you achieved "2700-3000" weelky running on 70hrs recap? Thanks

Appreciate all the info / everyone posting on here, I submit app for LineHaul on 15th of Sept, my instructor from comm college had me submit my hard copy app directly to "linehaul manager" which he knew, finger cross and my cellphone is standing by. I'm impatient, so apply for "seasonal package delivery driver" at UPS, but pay is $18.75, road test went will, but i'll be jumping for OD LineHaul when i get the call.

My instructor tough me if u want to convert CPM to Hourly pays then:
    (2700mi x 0.56cpm) / 70hrs recap = $21.60 / hr
    (3000mi x 0.56cpm) / 70hrs recap = $24.00 / hr

You did not factor in acc pay . Most weeks I will have 200$ in acc pay. Every thing you do gets paid something.

I thought about running wild for a while, but I'd want to go west than NE. I talked to a wild driver once that said he got stuck for a week running between Harrisburg and somewhere close by that usually pays hourly, but they paid him mileage and he earned peanuts that week.

Been stuck in Harrisburg couple of times but 500 mile days... just stay away from NYC . Cross Brox kills your run time.
