    I hate what these proposals are potentially doing to owner operators, but in a way, I hope it all passes, and California gets what they deserve. If the state gets everything they are trying to get, the produce docks are going to be filled with nothing but company trucks from large trucking companies, with most of the drivers having very little driving experience, and no produce hauling experience. I can see a ton of loads getting ruined if this happens.

    And just imagine the ports being filled the drivers of the same amount of experience. You think it is a disaster getting around in those areas now?

    It is crap like this that made the small company I drive for get out of hauling California produce this year and start hauling freight to the southeast and back now. It costs less to haul the freight, don't have to deal with California's whacky laws, and best of all, it's not produce anymore. :)
