Taking another swing at it

My inbound freight showed up at 1130pm last night. On the bright side I had a reset, sadly I had no sleep . I wasn't about to stick around, I took off and, with traffic delays, I made it to mt Vernon Tx today, got a room and will take off in th early AM.
This is my load home . And it looks like I will be busier at home than on the road .

 

I like how a broker thinks that just because the shipper delayed the load by 8 hours, that I can still make on time delivery. 1500 miles in 2 days . Lol. Not with my slow driving butt.

 

So I arrived tonight with my "must have it Thursday" load. Receiver shrugged and wondered why I didn't just wait until morning.
Oh well. What can you expect from brokers? Sooner you unload, sooner they can invoice.
I'm sleeping on their lot tonight. It's nice and cool out. Then I'm going to head home. It's my birthday Sunday and I'm hoping to put a line in the water this weekend. Here's to hoping!

Family drama is always fun in the aftermath of a BBQ at home. I had 6 dogs visiting , and the brother in law with the kid allergic to dogs was upset they weren't invited .
This is also the the guy who never shows up when you invite him anyway.
