Spent the night at my Dads place. It helped getting out of the truck. I think I'm just getting crispy out here. No resets, just recap hours and it "feels" like I'm running hard, but maybe it's just all the construction and traffic jams eating up my hours.

I've been following your thread since the beginning, you are your biggest asset, and your attitude has gotten you through!!!!.....don't take your eyes off the prize.....9 more months!!!!!...that paid off truck can increase your monthly gross by a grand or more...and when rates come back....well....it's all gravy !!!!

Take a couple of days, recharge, restore...and roll!!!!

    Good Luck !!!

I still have my busy work load over the weekend. Water to Walmart in Washington court house, OH and a beer run back up to GR that I can drop if I want to get there tomorrow night. (Or I'll be unloaded and keep the empty trailer)
I'm due home on Thursday for a slew of DR appts on Friday. (Including my med card renewal)
I'm going to ask for a load I can take out Sunday night, to get jump on my next week.
Hopefully I can get a decent week going

I had to combat an old trailer today for the beer load.
The old pull handle style tandems.
I had a revelation, an apiphony if you will.
I am all sorts of out of shape. It took an act of god to get that handle pulled and secured so I could thwack the pins in pretending I was Thor wielding Mjollinr.
After doing so, and moving said tandems, I was oh so winded.

I have been cutting back or eliminating bad food. Avoiding fast food where I can. If there is a salad bar, I do that.
But diet only helps with weight loss/control.
I need to rebuild my body so it somewhat resembles what it looked like when I started trucking.
I've been a big guy all my life, but after 12 years on the road with buffets galore and fast food aplenty, I made many bad choices.
Lately I have been trying to make better choices, and I've noticed if I over spend at fast food, out of habit buying multiple sandwiches along with the "value meal" , I can't eat all that I buy. I end up giving it away instead.
    But, I digress.
    I need to exercise.
I was told if you exert yourself, your blood pressure will elevate . This may be a myth, one that I held as truth to avoid getting off my butt .
It doesn't matter. I have to better myself. I'm not even 40 yet. (39 on Tuesday) so I think I can still shape my future into someone less round.
I have weights I can bring out at home. I have a heavy bag that I need to use more, rather than admire it as decoration .
I'm not about to join a gym. Every time I go by one and think about joining, I look in to see all the members inside are already in gym rat shape. Unless I can find an average Joes gym, I think I'll stick to privacy.
I takes a self revelation to actually change. Your friends, spouse and doctor keep telling you to better yourself, but until you make the choice, their plights will fall on deaf ears.
Ok, before this becomes a novel.

It's silly when it takes 90 minutes to get a preloaded trailer out. It's even more silly that there are no empty trailers available 12 hrs after you drop.
The advantage of live unload? You always have a trailer.
