I followed up with the shipper for what time to pick up the loaded trailer.
330pm. Mountain time zone.

 

Guess I'm sleeping at the NM port of entry since no answer from the home office to get me a money code to pay for my permit. (Co doesn't get one because we just don't come this way often enough to warrant it)
Someone must have called off work.

 

Can't afford to relax yet. And rumor has it last payment is March 3rd

I think I'll stick with them for a bit to build up a nice cash pillow before deciding to jump.

 

About to nap in order to get up at 2am to make Indy by 8am. Can't wait til this run is over.

 

Well, like anything, nothing is ever easy.
The company reviewed my history and discovered that I took a few too many unauthorized toll road routes using the EZ Pass. So they want me to pay back those tolls before I get the title.
I agreed, because I knew better and did it anyways, and when it "worked" the first time, I made the mistake of assuming it was ok. So I kept taking the PA pike when I went east. Those add up and I don't blame them for not wanting to pay for those tolls. So I will, because I preferred the lesser headaches over backroad routes.
It's only about $400. I can get that done by the time I'm ready to go home (next week)

 

Getting my truck serviced now.
