My delivery appointment to unload is 1pm. Receiver said he'd call me by 10 if an earlier slot opened up. I guess it's tight quarters with no parking to wait for a door. Yay!

Well I made it, blah, blah, blah. Most of the trucks I've seen so far are pretty rough, beat up,crashed, etc, company or LP, Wow. Everyone seems content though, meet several people that been her for years longer than the avg OTR company. Two guys in my orientation (2 of 6) quit before they even got a truck (crazy) ,not me though, thats why I ask questions/do research, etc. Will be a big decision to make about LP, cause I won't drive junk. I can fix most of the inside stuff and they'll do fixes on the drive train, but the body HAS to be in reasonable shape.
Almost every truck I've seen has bent side extenders and reminds me of how Swift trucks used to look a few years back LOL,and thats pretty sad. Body work/parts are expensive so I'll stay company until I can find the right truck. They say their getting rid of the trucks with Cummins (LP can keep them) and going all Detroit and will be getting newer trucks in a year or so.
overall so far, so good I guess. Crossing fingers AND toes.

Body outside is Not what is important, it's your Engine and Transmission that is now. You can get a fully inside and out rebuilt within the time of your lease. It's been done and being done. Just get a good engine and decent body you can replace as time goes on. Cosmetic means nothing if what is under hood does not run smooth.
BTW doing a Glider and not knowing how to fix under the hood is a bad recipe.

My point is the drive train is covered by the 15 cents a mile deal, so that's all good. I highly doubt they will repair body damage/repaint,anything you want, etc, so that'll be on me and I have owned (name on title) several trucks over the years. Anyway that's why I'm will be looking for a truck with a decent exterior.

If you buy the cosmetic part, they'll probably install it for you.

Before Equity? Was a small O/O company with apx. 33 trucks, mainly pulling drop decks. Have in past been leased to Land Star ,Jones Motor, and other lesser known companies.
