Taking another swing at it

Headed to Iowa today, as I'll be on recap hours by Wednesday

 

On my way back to Holland. Unload tomorrow and probably reset hos for a long run over the weekend. Let's me get my blower replaced.

 

Well that was done quick. Now I'll finish my 34 and decide where I'm going next.

 

South Dakota it is! Not as good as I hoped but I'll take it.
Yes, I'm on mileage based pay. Yes I realized I could make more.
In no way do feel I am cheated.

Think what you want. I still go home when I want and I don't go to the NE USA unless I want to.
I make plenty for me and my own. I'm not driven by $$, I'm driven by quality time with friends and family.
I have noticed, the more you make, the more you suddenly spend. I guess you don't think about it when you can't afford it, but once you can, you start buying things and services that never crossed your mind before.

 

Have your ducks in a row before doing it. Just do the loads as they come, and don't be afraid to speak up loudly if you are sitting more than you should. If you don't speak up, assumptions are made that you are content with what you are getting.
