Taking another swing at it

This is when I don't like my normal load planner / dispatcher going on vacation. My sub dispatcher is trying to get me to run fleet loads.

 

And the majesty of a fleet dispatch substitute is that I get to rescue fleet loads for them, rather than drive long haul. I'm going to have to get vocal if they try it again.

 

Make them pay your fuel for doing company work. Tom got hit with it alot till he started that with them. He got city pay on top of his miles too.

 

Oh tell them you are a OO. It doesn't show in computer.

 

Jake should know by now. But I'll remind him to make sure.

Planning offered me an Arizona run after I get back from Nebraska . I can't do it because we are leaving Friday. So I put my name on a 2 stop Texas run, that should get me back here by Friday.
Such is the family life with Disney vacations.

 

Oh man it's Jake. Good luck we had serious issues with his dispatches. He has no business dispatching can't plan worth a ####.

 

In Omaha. Unloading stop 1 of 2. Backhaul to Walker mi yard will drop tomorrow.
Dispatch sends a load "2 stop Texas, delivers Monday morning. "
I says nay nay. Stop 2 will unload Tuesday. Tyler and Wichita Falls are not next door to each other. I predict my clock will be out befor reaching stop 2.
So far they seem to agree.

 

I'm able to sleep normal tonight! Yay!

 

Heard a guy on the CB once, talking about he couldn't sleep when's he's home. So he goes out and sleeps in his truck when he's at the house.
