If one person can do it, then it’s possible. As is any goal in life

Happy Thanksgiving when you get to it. Get any good news on your own truck yet?

I passed on a Milwaukee redo load to head to Tx and Nm for Friday and Monday. Not bad after a week at home. Running until Christmas though.

Stops 1-2 off without incident. Onward to New Mexico for a quick unload on Monday, then tear into next week hoping to have A strong week.

Everyone has a sad story about how times are tough and the car was towed and hasn’t had work for days and bought the part for the broken down car but it was towed and that part cost $80 and we just need $32 for something to eat.
I considered this plight, then logic kicked in.
Why not return the part and get that $80 back?
If you need $32, I’d be happy to contribute to a common pool, after 3 days, how much have you raised? Oh. Zero. But I’m only driver 2 you talked to on this lot today? Already kicked off the J’s lot, Loves, and TA?
And nothing to show for it?
I have a heart, but it just sounded like a scam. Gave him some cup holder change. I’m not risking more with a flimsy story.

You're more generous than I am. On occasion I will give them a bag with some canned goods, a bottle of water, paper ware, plastic ware and napkins ... they're on their own to find a can opener.
