It's a scam. I have been hit here at home at Bass Pro Shop parking lot and other places. A few truck stops also when with hubby or picking him up. You always see them driving away. Most beg for gas money as they are running out have to get to hospital ECT ECT ECT. All scams tell next one you will call local police to help watch how fast the back pedal.

I was asked at the J once by a couple for money for gas. I was feeling generous so I told them to pull their car up to the pump and I will fill it for them. They left...guess they wanted money for something other than gas. I wonder what it could be.....?

Actually my best story is from Jackson. An old guy begged me for money and I told him sorry no. Next thing you know this giant of a fellow bodies up over me and says, "What? You think he's lyin'?"
I had just had all my teeth pulled so I had an empty ragged mouth. I turned my face up to him. And I mean up! man he was big but I was so mad I forgot to be scared. I growled, "no i just need my money for some #### teeth" and opened that nasty mess at him. He ran like a bunny.

Logic escapes load planners and brokers. We drivers are magical and can cover 850 miles in one driving shift. Over mountain grades and thru small towns and winding roads. We never slow from top speed.
Pick at 3pm, deliver by 930 am the next morning...might want to go back to basic math kids

It appears I have a better option available to me than an inframe repair.
A rebuilt engine swap. That way if something goes wrong, I can take it to a freightliner and it’s under warranty. Win, win.
