I am sure a lot of people will be glad when it's her birthday for the same reason.
I have two brothers in prison for about the umpteenth time and one always sends a letter to us he is always saying he can't wait till my daughter graduates because he will be getting out.
For two reasons I don't want this to happen:
1 she will be 18
2 he gets out and then it will be looking everything up so he don't steal to get drugs.Wickedfire77 Thanks this. -
I saw “seasoned” firewood for sale.
I got to thinking what it could mean.
1) it’s already been spiced so it smells like gourmet food cooking when burned.
2) it’s been through fire before. A veteran of fire, it knows what to do.
3) this firewood is recently out of the rut and past “season”??
4) an extra word put in from the phrase for a broader appeal, making you think this isn’t just ordinary wood to burn...its seasoned. Akin to describing food as “zesty”
I’ve never had anything taste “zesty”. I have used a zester and been cleaned by Zest. This makes me believe there is a connection between a zester and being zest fully clean, and I find this correlation disturbing and frightening. (A zester is used on citrus fruit skin to get very fine strips for mincing and mixing into sauces and dressings, leaving nearly the whole fruit intact otherwise)
Anyone else with a suggestion?386lover and Knucklehead Thank this. -
Not sure if you're trolling your own thread or really don't know what seasoned firewood is.
Knucklehead and Wickedfire77 Thank this. -
I’m bored. I’m guessing seasoned firewood is just another word for dry.Knucklehead Thanks this.

Don't let that distract you from the fact that In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.386lover, Knucklehead and Rugerfan Thank this.

I was 7 years old when I had a dream about naked nuns on a merry go round ... It's gone downhill from there.
