Yeah I waited until my reset, I'll pull an all nighter, although I'm probably going to hit the afternoon rush

For the first time, I'm having a bad weekend with the company. No fault of theirs . I was supposed to do a round trip from Dallas to McAllen and back . Well , I completed leg 1 this morning, but seems the trailer I'm waiting for will not be in the country until Monday. So here I sit in 100f temps all weekend. At least my AC works and I can shower. I'll get layover pay for this load.( company pays it regardless if it's a weekend or not )
so , I'm at the flying j at Monty cristo on I. 69 if anyone cares to visit.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
I'm seriously thinking about looking for a codriver . I don't mind training, but I'd like to be a productive team again. I don't want to post on Craigslist because there are a bunch of crazies that can answer those . Where would i start if I decided to do this?

Allright Allright quit twisting my arm. I will take the job at .15/mile with no benefits and only getting home once every 2 months. You could also start by going to your nearest home depot. Get one of those guys their green card and their CDL and I bet you could get them to run for .05/mile.

Mi don't need to offer benefits...we have Obama care.
And I get home every 2 weeks or so.
So when can you start ?Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
You get a co-driver? I think I know how this will play out.......................

I'm sittin in south Tx til tomorrow so I have many opportunities to think. Idle hands may do the devils work, but idle minds can be so much worse.
I can only imagine sharing my truck while sitting here.
Parish the idea of co driver. I'll just work harder.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Just a thought, your fixed costs are about 500 a week. Why not pay ahead a week or two and then time off will be relaxed no problem take a month to pay an extra 125/pay and your there. Myself I find it easy to pay the extra but a challenge to make up being in the hole
Jarhed1964, popcorn169, Rug_Trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
