In this digital age we live in, I find myself getting impatient when I send an email and don’t get a reply within 10 minutes. Maybe I should chill out.

I have a bad feeling about this delivery in North Carolina. I think I’ll end up tailgating all 40k with a pallet jack. This may suck a lot

I’ve been doing it wrong. When you have kidney problems you have to avoid phosphorus foods, and potassium and reduce sodium.
Avoid processed meats...no idea bacon fell into that category.
White bread is a better option than whole grain.
Oatmeal should be limited to one serving a week!
I should avoid melons (except watermelon)
    Banana is bad!
And high protein foods make the kidney work harder. So this whole very low carb thing has been bad for me.
I have to limit my potato intake?!
I’m not vegan, but it’s looking like I have to disguise myself as one.
I should wear leather so nobody gets confused.
I’m not joining that cult, I’m doing it for health reasons.

Bacon is smoked and cured with salt. So not low sodium.
I don't bye the white bread better than 12 grain. That mix information for sure. Even diabetics are not to eat white bread because it's all processed bleach whole flour. Whole wheat is better any qualified nutritionist will tell you that.
Starchy food turn to sugar and you pee out ketones of excess. Diabetic that has too much starch you can smell it in their urine trust me on that. Mom is a full fledge class 1 diabetic only be under control since we moved her in 4 years ago.
Here a tip to flush your kidneys drink Distilled water. It negative ions will pull all excess out of system and clean it fast. This is highly recommend for those that get kidney stones or have gallbladder issues.

I’m not going to argue over this. Each person has their own diet to follow.
A diabetic would absolutely choose multi grain over white.
    I’m not diabetic, not yet.
I have chronic kidney disease, which means I have to avoid sodium, potassium and phosphate. Multi grain is full of phosphates, so I won’t be consuming it. (When I do Subway now, I always go spinach wrap or salad.)

Anyway, after a long unload on top of a mountain in NC, I’m reloading (2 picks) to go to Michigan. I’ll probably run a water run and then go home. I have a slew of doctor appointments on Monday and Tuesday next week.

I’m wondering what the benefit would be if I struck out with my own authority. Am I asking for a bigger headache?

When I was diagnosed with CKD, I thought my Primary Doc was giving me a death sentence last year. I have a follow up appointment with my Nephrology doc at U of M on the 15th. He’s had me on alpurinol for a year and an increase in dosage in November.

My numbers still suck, but I’m better educated now and have switched up my diet.
I researched and discovered that kidney disease and treatment is not a disqualifying event for a cdl.
So the only thing that might give me trouble is fluid retention causing high blood pressure.
    All these things are manageable.
With a good mindset and determination, I can keep on trucking

Just persevere ... I had an angioplasty for my 40th birthday ... 3 years later my cardiologist told me I had less than 50/50 chance of lasting 5 more years and referred me for a transplant. I was approved, put on the waiting list and prescribed a just approved beta blocker therapy.

The therapy improved my condition to the point I was taken off the transplant list and 17 years past my my expiration date my cardiologist has given me a clean bill of health.
