So I’m considering getting another dog. Just because. I’m looking heavily at a cane Corso . My transplant isn’t going to be considered until about May, but I want a strong walking companion that I can lean on, and that’s a very smart breed that can get the job done. Not sure I will return to the road after I’m off dialysis or not. I’m thinking I’ll sign up for a certificate to be an electrician, keep my CDL and I can do outside utility work. I mean, I may as well do something with my time. None of the real estate brokers returned my calls, so, next best thing.

Yeah a cane corso dog is a big dog. If you are going to get a dog get a dog a big dog.

In saying that I am thinking about a small dog to ride with me in the truck. But I had always had big dogs around the house.

I had a rottweiler and he was the most gentle dog around unless you messed with his food bowl.

I now have a local job, so I'm never more than 100 miles from the Florida state line.

Cold weather??? I'm not familiar with that anymore.

Apparently there is a storm making its way across the middle right now. I avoid it at most costs anymore, to many years living up there and hauling in all weather conditions.

My mom sent me a couple of pics from a day or so ago so I can imagine what you see when you look outside right now. I sent her a pic of the somewhat frozen grass, I was promptly told not to gloat. :-D

Not sure if you found a dog yet but you might want to look at Caucasian shepards.large breed but very healthy
