The more I read, the more the pumpkin looks appealing. I think I could do my refresher and get back in the leasing game (a better one)
I wonder if sitting home has made my personal credit bounce back being I have no bills in collection or hovering debt.

I did the lease with them. It does take a little to learn their way of doing things but it's not a bad deal.

I never had a negative settlement. They do have some regulations but every company out here does anymore.

I know someone who is still there and paid off his truck and sold it got another one from them.

I think it all depends on the area you live in. I tried to at one time but they didn't have any openings in my area.

Now with that being said most of the freight I hauled was from the same company. I learned what days certain loads came out and was able to get them.

It is a learning curve and once you learn things fall into place.

If you tell them what area you live in then they will be able to tell you what the freight is like.

If you know someone who has access to their load board ask them to look at your area. They should be able to look at freight going out and coming in.

Message from the pumpkin said there was no cap on experience. No need to go out with a trainer if I successfully performed the backing and road test at orientation. So that’s cool.

I might have missed it, but are you considering their o/o choice program or as a company driver? I don’t have any insight into pumpkin trucking but I hear drivers do well in my neck of the woods if they like short hauls…northeast. Don’t know about the MI area.

Definitely looking at the O/O side. 90 minutes away I’m sure I can jump into a decent market and take a bunch of shorties.

First I need a kidney. Then I need to recover. Then I can look forward to getting back to work. I need to refocus my exercise though. I used to walk every day, now it’s cold a slippery out. Maybe it’s time to start lifting again. I have about 55lbs to go before my goal.

I just read a company looking for drivers who are manual endorsed? Is this due to schools using auto shift?
