Nope, dry van but I occasionally train new drivers. I left that out.

 

I did that too, it didn’t seem worth it if you get a bad egg. I guess it depends on the company

 

So the State wants my drug test results by the 15th. Unless you’re an employer with a direct link for results, it takes two weeks if you pay out of pocket. It’s almost like they set up the unemployed to fail so they still have purpose. I already paid for my DOT physical, my driving record, that was $125 already. Drug test is $75.
My kidney disease really screwed me on this one. This is the gauntlet I have to run to get my CDL back…I might be forced to go get it through an OTR training company. Schneider is out, I’m still considered experienced.

 

Such BS. I completed everything necessary for state funding for my cdl school. They’ll cove a portion, I’ll have to cover $1995 of it. Wish I knew this ahead of time.

 

So when I do get my cdl back…I need to search for the top 4 team companies that run through Michigan so I can get home.

So I drove my father in law to Alabama. And booked a flight home for tomorrow morning, where I have to take the kid to college orientation Monday morning. flight got canceled because it layover in DC. So now I’m re routed through Dallas to go home . Later in the day, which means a later check in in Grand Rapids tomorrow night….
