    Just be aware, last I looked, OTR companies don’t count local work as “experience “ for minimum qualifications. It may be different now…

    That is what I was concerned about. I don't know what to tell them when they ask for previous experience. Before I drove OTR 8 years so I have experience, it was just 16 years ago.

    That’s what I’m doing and I have 3 already willing to hire with my prior experience (I had to show proof with settlement papers and paystubs )

    That's a good idea to show pay stubs. I worked for Swift and the now gone Interstate Dist. I don't know how easy it would be to get those. I'll just keep on applying and someone will take me. Even if I will have to shadow with a trainer that will be ok to go back OTR.

    Done and done.
    Unfortunately since it was done on Saturday it won’t be uploaded until Monday, so I’ll go in Tuesday to get my new picture and an updated CDL
