The truth can often be painful, but I have found it is the best way to avoid stress and often, conflict .
This morning I asked again about my trailer. I was told the brewery just got trailers to start getting loads out...excuse me, I dropped my empty yesterday afternoon, how would they just now have trailers available ?
I bobbed over to check on the one I dropped, there it sat.
So, I return to the misinformation agent to ask why they didn't use my trailer that is still sitting , or just live load me?
He finally fessed up, (it wasn't just me, many bobtails were waiting for preloaded drop and hook loads.
Simple enough , they don't have enough product to fill those loads yet.
There are a slew of other questions I wanted to ask, but he was the wrong person and would not have had answers.
Here I am, at the TA, waiting for rush hour to end and maybe sunset . If it waits until 5am I'll have a reset, I do not want to reset before home! I may go on duty just to kill that reset . I already know I'm delivering this one, so I'm not in a hurry to leave since it's a Monday delivery.
When I don't have in depth entertainment in my truck, it's boring sitting like this. Kinda wish I had a laptop now. I already read two novels. Now I'm getting tired again . Maybe I'll just start fresh in the early morning. Like 2am...that is, if my load is ready.

I finally made it. Out of that place, I left loaded early this morning. I should get $100 for sitting a day. I didn't want a reset on HOS, but I got one anyway. On my way! To Louisville for Monday morning . I'm taking it easy, why rush to be there just to wait longer ? I'll probably chill out at oak grove mo petro tonight , if anyone else is there I'll buy the coffee or iced tea.
Since I want the miles of this load to show up on my settlement I'm going to show empty today(end of pay week ) rather than Monday.
    Anyway, drive safe.

Made it to Mo as planned . Renovations made parking more fun. After a 647 mile day I'm ready to relax. I go up to the movie theater to find the exact same movie playing as the last time I was here. So watched college ball , and local news for a minute. I stopped watching news because it depressed me. Local news is out of Kansas City...and the celebrated getting in the playoffs for the first time in 26 yrs or something . Meanwhile, my Tigers are clinging to first place by a thread, and clinched a. 4th straight playoff . Local news didn't cover that part. Lol

First time in a very long time I had an extended nose bleed. Wasn't expecting it to hit while I was sleeping. So now I have an old swift shirt that looks like someone was stabbed in it .
I have low blood platelet count , so nose bleeds can be dangerous. This one only lasted about 40 minutes. I'll have to report it to my hematologist on Tuesday when I go in. Good night again .

I hope it's nothing you can't deal with. Good luck to you.

Both of my Detroit teams won today! Lions are 3-1 and Tigers just clinched the division title, for the 4th yr in a row. And hockey is back on the ice! It's a good time to be a sports fan in Michigan.
