    Tomorrow I grab a Ford run to CT from a team. I don't understand why a team can't deliver, but more miles for me. Then I imagine I get the load home.

    I imagined wrong. I deadhead back to Pa to relay another Ford load tomorrow, THEN I'll get a load back to Michigan. Can wait for hockey season to start for real. Not just exhibition games.

    Come prepared for cold. And rain. And cold. Highs where I live in Western Michigan will be mid-40's for a couple of days. And rain.

    With me being a company driver they pay me by the mile so much a stop and to hook up. I got 2 stops off today and am sitting at my last stop for in the morning and when I finish unloading I will head back to Rocky Mount Va. for the weekend. I do get hourly pay after 2 hours at the same stop unless other arrangements are made.

    it's all good. I live up in the snow belt. And 40s isn't that cold. Disappointing , but not freezing.
    I have a feeling this year will touch that -80 with winds again. I do not look forward to it. That bitter, crisp, nose hairs freeze instantly when you breathe air. Ahh northern Michigan winters .
    I felt for west Mi last year too. All that lake effect.
    I think my kids had school cancelled 17 days due to cold weather or snow/ ice.

    Sounds like a semi fair deal I guess. Especially the hourly rate if they close .
