On my way down to Charlotte , and I'm still in the loner truck. At least the wipers work. Already planned on my load back to Holland. Not sure what what the holiday will bring, hopefully freight so I can pay my bills at home the week of the first.
Luckily , many of the freight base is not seasonally dependent. (Except Ford ) with any good fortune , I'll be working, as I have already had my turkey dinner with friends and family.

When I'm used to a Columbia steering, then need to get in a tight spot with a classic, I realize I look like a new hire trying to adjust to the month of Sundays and football field it takes to maneuver these things.

Isn't that how it is? Some days, you can thread a needle with the trailer. Some days you can't get into a rest area without good weather, blocked roads, and a police escort.

Oh happy day! I have returned to my newly fixed truck and it is oh so glorious.
Im doing a round trip to Hazleton and back for the holiday. If I time it right, I may be able to score dinner at Dad's in Howell. I'm just happy I'm in comfort now.

I find it strange when I see threads screaming for help or insight about a certain company because they ALREADY signed up for them.
Thats like celebrating you got accepted into a fraternity called ku klux klan, then discovering what they are about. Research before you apply says I

I think it comes from getting their "reliable" information from their recruiter...then learning what 'spin' really means.

I've decided to wait out the snow in pa instead of driving through it. Daylight should help. I'm lined up with all drops so I don't see the harm in being safe

The weather in Western Michigan is pretty good. Dry, not very cold, and forecast to remain that way. The only snow I have on my lawn is a frozen dust of snow that fell yesterday..
