I hear a lot of people say good and bad things about l/p. To me it's what u make of it. That is why some of us became a trucker to one day own our own rig. Who am I to hinder that dream of yours. Some fail some succeed, what work for one may not for the other one. We all are different, I may be more business minded that the other person. Every successful business in America didn't happen without some lumps and bruises. I sure some thought some of these big truck companies wouldn't succeed when they first started but look at them now. If I fall help me up don the say see I told ya. If I succeed congratulate me. I say this if you really want to do it you make the decision no one lives with it but you. If you make good checks some weeks why not double your truck note if you can afford to that way u be a week ahead and can take a week off without going in hold. If you do that and have faith in God that he will help you succeed you will not fail. LIVE YOUR TRUCKER DREAM

I think my body burned up what was Ill in me. I feel good today. I'm actually making an effort to drink only water or tea/coffee. Making an effort to cut out processed sugar. It's harder than it sounds.
    Drive safe.

Yes, it is. But it gets easier with time. Soon, your body won't be able to "stomach" pop of any kind. That's how mine is now, but water? I'll drink 2-3 pitchers of water per day, either as tea or water with occasional coffee thrown in. And cutting down on added sugar is a very good thing to do for your body. As you age, the results of having too much for too long stay much longer than you want...I know about that, too!

I gave up soda a long time ago and now I drink sweet tea when I go to get something to eat (or an occasional sprite) I drink coffee and water all day long. I usually keep a case of water with me in the truck but we are getting all new trucks in and I am trying to keep as much stuff as I can out of the truck til mine is ready. Supposedly in a couple weeks. So for now I just keep a big bottle with me.

The downfall of drinking lots of water? Lots of potty breaks.

On the home front, my daughters found someone getting rid of puppies. Of course they rescued one. My youngest is going to be the one responsible for her.

I begin my weekly infusion treatment on dec 29th. It's an all day event to complete. I look forward to the results it will bring, but not the journey getting there . After the treatment (4 weeks) I should be good on my blood platelet count for 6months . A nosebleed should not be a day altering event.

What do you get when you mix black ice, high winds , empty trailer and super single tires? A reason to park until this crap is cleaned up and treated! Hopeful the wind dies down too. I came up I76 out of Denver and it went from sunny and beautiful to crappy and ignored. I think they shut I80 down in NE at Paxton . Going west anyways. I chose to park in North Platte. Don't want to risk it tonight. My heart just isn't in daredevil mode.
