Didn't make it very far today. I had no sleep from a gout flare up , then this morning I had to use restrooms with a sense of urgency multiple times . I am hoping my body cooperates tonight and I get to sleep so I can get to Alabama then to Tx and ms after that.

You can warn someone as much as you want. Try to tell them they need to think it over. Take time to weigh your options. It won't help.
Once they have their mind set on doing a lease with a huge company, that's it.
He tells me it's a new truck.
He says he is taking over his trainers truck and dedicated account.
That should say something. He wanted out of BOTH the truck and the contract.
Mi wish him well, but I have a bad feeling about this.

Big, new truck = Big, surprising payment. Add to the mix a large dose of Unknown. Mix thoroughly and bake for two weeks.

Place results in the light of day. Uh oh...

    Then come the fireworks.

I am going to play stupid and ask a stupid question. But what are you talking about on the lease?

My wife's friends husband just got his CDL 5 months ago , and he was sold on how rich he can get leasing from a big box company . I just don't think he has enough under his belt just yet to jump into that , but to each their own. I wish anyone who dives in the very best. Many times it turns ugly quick

New drivers who lease think those big income numbers - and they can be big - mean a lot of money to the driver when, in fact, it's money to the truck. Out of it come all the very big expenses like fuel, IFTA, taxes, Social Security, insurance, maintenance, and driver salary. Not knowing about running a business is what gets new leassees in big trouble.

    popcorn169 and Wickedfire77 Thank this.

No APUs . Older glider kit frtlinrs
the freight lane you'd be looking at would be the ford lane that goes from Detroit area to CT. That's the primary one anyway
