    I am.
I have to say it is a lot on how you approach the gig . If you know people that are successful doing this, don't just ask about income. Ask about budgeting, accounting, and time management . You are your own boss, that means nobody will force you to go back to work from home except you.

Also is a 1000 fix cost good for a 2015 truck bumper to bumper with 1.00 a mile and 100% fuel surcharge that's what jacobsons trucking is offering me been approved but not sure if I should hop on it

I wouldn't know. I drive a 05 Columbia. My fixed costs are 405. I don't deal with DEF or REGEN so I have no problem idling to stay warm or cool. I'd ask if an APU is included and if you get the title at the end of the term or if there is a buyout.

Think about it . 1k fix plus fuel.
In order to run 1k to cover fixed you need (5mpg) 200 gal . At (2.50 per gal) that's another estimated $500 to make (overestimate )
not to mention your variable other costs you need to factor in. I'd think your break even point is about 1500 miles.
Realisticly 22-2500 miles per week. You get 700-1000 miles of your own, which you have to also cover fuel on.
I see you clearing 3-500 on perfect weeks. What happens when you break down? Sure you have "bumper to bumper" (at their approved shops , if they deem it necessary to repair)
    good luck.

I don't give my person number out, sorry. And yes, 3-500 is after all your expenses. That's what happens with a 1000 fixed cost looming over you. It's only an estimate mind you, there is a margin for error.
